Feet dangling

Palms flat

Leaning on a wood plank

Soft hum

Pursed lips


I stare into opaque eyes

They stare back

They don’t blink

I glance at the messy hair

Shifting slowly

Tickling air


Pebbles crunch beneath my shoes
