Mirror of Moisinite by Elizabeth Wagner

I am in your debt, for you have entertained me.

You didn't even know that we were playing a game.

My dear friend, do not fret;

My heart is black and beset.

It’s not your fault; no one to blame.

Apologies, for this was fun while it lasted.

But I can only wear a smiling mask for so long.

You are too soft, heart on your sleeve;

You're not able to perceive.

It's not your fault, you did no wrong.

I have told you repeatedly, so many times.

Other people only hurt you, or they can be used.

Moisinite; telling lies;

They’re only truths in disguise.

It’s not your fault, my heart is bruised.

Pardon, but people should have learned this long ago.

To be autonomous is to remain for all time.

Into the ground, a heart will rot;

There's a lesson to be taught.

It’s not your fault, the game is mine.
